In 2007 current owner and Senior Podiatrist Rebecca Schofield acquired a 25 year old Rochdale based podiatry practice, taking the reins from then practice owner Dr Michael O'Malley. A Rochdale girl born and bred, Rebecca qualified just over the hills at Huddersfield University and her career started with the local NHS trust in Burnley.

After the move into her own private practice the rebranding into Walk Right Podiatry started immediately, and a growth in services and patient numbers saw the subsequent merger of patients from local Podiatric Surgeon Mr Ian Baxter-Wild prior to his retirement in 2011.

At the end of 2012 Rebecca won "Rochdale Business Woman of the Year" an award that in a business sense recognised her work in managing the handover, growth and modernisation of two long standing Rochdale podiatry practices, but moreover it recognised on a human level her passion for simply helping people.

Today Rebecca is joined by Carl and Kim, each adept in several specialist areas of podiatry themselves. Together they're continuing to drive Walk Right Podiatry forward, exploring the latest treatment methods and continuing their professional training and development. Still utterly wrapped in their focus on providing the highest levels of patient care, today and tomorrow.
