Ingrowing toe nails can be very painful leading to infection and prolonged pain. Nail surgery both partial nail avulsion (part of the nail removed) and total nail avulsion (the whole of the nail removed) can be easily and effectively performed using local anasthetic and Phenol which will prevent the regrowth of the deformed nail. The procedure takes up to an hour and the patient can return to work and their normal routine the following day.
