Verrucas

Verrucas are a form of the Human Papilloma Virus and are contracted at communal places such as Swimming pools and Changing areas. They have a similar appearance to corns but have small black dots inside them which are visible, these are blood vessels attached to the Verruca.

There are various ways to treat them depending on the size and pain they may or may not be causing,  sometimes they are even best to leave completely alone until the body has built an immunity to them. Here at Walk Right Podiatry we can give you the advice that you need and form a treatment plan that suits you and your needs.
